Re: Cam timing, maybe ?

I think what Liteace is trying to show is, the TDC point is shown on the peaks of the current ramp on relative compression, not 100% accurate but fairly close. He can then see where the injection takes place in relation to 'TDC', again not 100% accurate but fairly close. Sorry for jumping in on this...

Re: Mths chaneel

I have to apologize for the spelling. I did it on my phone, big fingers and small keys! The BMW looks like it has a harmonic balanced issue. Tom. The upgrade will happen. The tax man is getting his cut before you! I realise you don't like to give much away and you protect what you have for your grou...

Re: Mths chaneel

Hi

Yes, that is what I am trying to do. However, not being great at formulas I need an example of a formula to have a starting base.

When I open the math channel to try I do not even know were to start. Can you give me a working example that I can build on?

Can you give me an example of a formula so I can see what I have to work with?

I have had a look but do not know where to start.

Re: TA018 current clamp

Hi

I have checked the wiring from BNC to board. Run a soldering iron over the board. Still no go.

Have ordered a new one.

TA018 current clamp

Hi I have the Pico TA018 current clamp. I accidentally left it switched on over the weekend and of course the battery went flat. However, now I have replaced the battery, the green light comes on but there are no readings on the scope. My question is, could leaving the unit switched on cause it to f...

k110 micro probe

Hi

I have a k110 micro probe. I am trying to set up a custom probe for this clamp but can't get it to work.

Is there any custom probes already for this?

Re: Strange Crank Trace

Hi all

I realize that it has been a long time since I posted this 'post' I acually forgot about it.

This car had excesive end float on the crank shaft and had started to wear into the crank sensor. When we pulled it out it had been ground down quite alot.

Scrapped engine!
