Maths Channel

Hi

Can someone help with a maths formular to make a maths channel for fuel pressure.

I would like to make one to trace the high pressure rail voltage and turn it into pressure on a common rail diesel.

Re: PicoScope Automotive Top Tips

Hi Steve

Many thanks for those. I have been playing with Math channels for a while with great frustration.

If you have any more examples it would be great.

The 'how to' in maths channels is writen for people who speak the lingo and i dont, its the same with advanced triggers.

Re: Software crashes when adding vehicle information

Hi Steve

It happens on FILE - SAVE and EDIT feature. Vista is up to date. Yes I do have more than one version loaded in case I have a melt down with another version while I am in the field. This has happened!

Software crashes when adding vehicle information

Hi For the last few updates I have been having an issue with the automotive software. When I try to enter vehicle make into the vehicle information page the whole program crashes, gives me a problem page to send to Pico (which I fill in) and send. Then the software re boots automatically . I have ju...

Re: WPS 500 vs Firstlook sensor

Hi I have not owned a first look sensor, however, I do have the WPS500. And I would not be without it! From compression waveforms, fuel pressure, oil pressure, exhaust pulses, intake measuring and more if you put your mind to it makes it a very versatile piece of kit. Someone with a first look senso...

Re: VECTRA C B3750

Hi

What scan tool are you using? Is it possible that the code could be miss read and not listed in TIS?

Could you try a different scan tool if not using a Tech2?

Re: 2005 VW Transporter T5 non start

Hi Firstly, thanks to everyone for their input. I will explain where we are now and some of my queries. On Monday morning, fresh from the weekend I checked MBV004 on VCDS but unfortunatly the lable file was missing, this has been logged and sent to VCDS. I scoped relative compression vs fuel injecto...

Re: 2005 VW Transporter T5 non start

Hi. Yes the alarm bells are ringing! Which is why I am looking at mechanical issues first. I am using VCDS with latest software, sorry, didn't do a global scan and save it so I can't tell you what label file it has. I will have another look on Monday and check the tandem pump pressure and the live d...

Re: 2005 VW Transporter T5 non start

Hi

I haven't checked the tandem pump pressure yet due the the cam code coming up.

It stuggles to run on easy start.

What cranking pressure should I expect at tandem pump?

Also, can you remember the value on MBV004?
