Re: Fiat Doblo 1.3

Hi Neil,

No codes except glow plug. Not other codes have come back!

It is worse when cold, but still there at normal operating temps but not quite as bad.

Re: Fiat Doblo 1.3

Hi guys, Who said to blank off the EGR valve? :x Took the pipe off and blanked the manifold. Didn't make any odds. EGR is fully closing as we seen the exhaust fumes come out on overrun, then stop as soon as the egr closed off. Just spent the best part of the evening trying to get the egr pipe back o...

Stupid Question Regarding Voltage

Hi, Just a quick and possibly stupid question. When you have the scope set at say 2 volts, is it only the software that is set to 2 volts and not the picoscope? By that I mean, you can sometimes get a bit of noise on the signal that can cause it to occasionaly spike above 2 volts, and get an exclama...

Re: Fiat Doblo 1.3

Valhalla, Thanks for the reply. Not sure if it has ever been misfueled or not. I don't think the customer has had the car too long, so might have been before they got it. Cam timing hasn't been checked, or cams checked for wear. However, this is just a normal high pressure engine, not a PD diesel. F...

Re: Fiat Doblo 1.3

Fuel is ok. Car has had this fault for a few months.

Arjen, was your Seat not fitted with the PD engine, where by it will open the injectors via the camshaft?? We don't have the wps I'm afraid. It will go on the shopping list!

Re: Fiat Doblo 1.3

Ok, have had a little look at this car again. There is no O2 sensor to be found anywhere. Roadtested looking at live data. Full throttle from 1,000 - 3,000 rpm boost pressure starts at 1200m/bar and gets to 2350. MAF sensor goes from 300-700. EGR just seemd to sit at 2%. Didn't move at all?? In the ...

Re: Fiat Doblo 1.3

Kim, Maybe I just haven't seen the O2, I'll look later on. The sensor I see goes into the DPF and looks like a temp sensor. Only has 2 wires and at a guess screws in with 15mm spanner or there abouts. Autodata seems to say there is no O2 on DPF models, and live data just shows the O2 sensor reading ...

Re: Fiat Doblo 1.3

Hi I'm having a day off today, but might pop in later for a play around. We don't have a boost pressure gauge but will see what I can get electricaly from turbo and egr. One thing I overlooked were the injector codes, so I checked them and they were fine. However, I input the codes again just in cas...
