Hi, Had another go at this the other day but car didn't falter but the buffer was only capturing a couple of pages then stopping i think it was 7 of 7 or something like that, is that to do with the way i have set the scope up? Is the settings i have it on ok to capture the fault? see attached trace ...

Hi folks, Quick update on this, Car has seemed to adapt new egr to ecu and is driving fine now and all codes have cleared, so i think i was looking into a problem which wasn't there but will let customer try it and see what happens. Spoke to a few folk on autologic forum and there is supposed to be ...

I haven't no but another garage we do bodywork for has autologic for VAG so they were gonna hopefully sort out a wiring diagram for me or i could just do an hour's access to get a diagram for it. I Haven't reset adaptions, what do you mean by carried out all required basic settings? Sorry for asking...

Hi It has the throttle body bolted to egr then egr bolted between it and manifold and is all electric no vacuum pipes etc so take it that is the N18 and G212? Not sure what wire should be doing what on EGR i had 5v on one wire 14v on another etc would rather try and get a wiring diagram so i knew wh...

here is air flow meter with codes cleared as when eml was on car wouldn't rev past 3500rpm.

Should there not be an initial rise and fall as manifold fills up with air?

Hi folks me again! Got a 2006 Audi a4 2.0 TDI BRE engine with a p0403 EGR code Customers complaint was EML light on, lack of power and the automatic transmission not changing up the gears properly Removed the EGR valve and was choked up beyond cleaning so replace it and gasket as my local audi parts...

I redone the test after posting the question and made sure i had clamp right way round and it was ok and is now reading ok. It must of been something i did? i removed negative lead and put a jumper cable between post and terminal and took reading of the cable. Does the length of jumper cable affect ...

HI,

When i locked doors the trace went up to top of screen and then settled to 0 then after a short while went minus 2/3 amps so i took it, it was the right way round with the capture going high.

Parasitic draw test

Hi,

Is it normal for the amp reading to go minus 0 when using the amp clamp for this test or am i doing something wrong? i zero'd clamp before i started the capture and had it set on 20a scale

I take it when you say 'lit' you mean normal operating temperature?

What other checks can be done? Be interesting to know!
