Hi,

Quick update for anyone following this,

I fitted a new OE air flow meter and the starting and throttle repsonse from start up has noticeably improved so customer has taken van away to try it.

Looked at this again today and checked wiring from sensor and leak off pipes etc and all seems ok and its starting ok now. Spoke to a guy i know at local vauxhall dealer and he said there is an air mass flow meter fault that causes this kind of fault i.e poor starting/no throttle for 10-20 secs but ...

Hi

Will get back to this on monday.

The snow here is up to your knees so called it a day and got home.

Think i need to look at prv on end of rail and see whats happening and check wiring from sensor back to loom.

Hi, Scoped all 3 wire this time and capture is below. van is a 2003 and there is no fault codes but i haven't had a good quality scanner on it. In the capture the van has a long crank time then starts but has no throttle respone then shortly after throttle returns for a wot then back to idle to stab...
