When you say running out of resources, what do you mean?

memory, storage space etc!!
Yes. Processor getting pegged, RAM running out, etc.

Re: What could be wrong?

Not being able to duplicate your concern here, I would monitor to see if your PC is running out of resources and becoming unresponsive.

when I use "crank(B,36)" very little information appears.
Either use freq(B)*1.67 or apply some filter to B. 900 Hz seems to bring up your crank(B,36).

Re: Time trigger

Would it be possible to add a link to your webinar as this would assist others with such knowledge and bring about additional diagnostic techniques? We have been doing these Group Therapy webinars for 20 years. When the technology evolved to be able to record and preserve them, about 7 years ago, w...

Re: Time trigger

It's way easier than that. We have covered this many times in our webinars. We call it a VVT range and response test. We leave the scan tool in the tool box for this. Using the technique I described above and a proper capture time, you can measure the amount of total movement and the time it took to...

Re: Time trigger

PicoKev is right. I would only add that you can do a continuous streaming capture over a long period and miss nothing by violating the operating principles of repeat trigger placing it on the far right so that it cannot trigger. Re: Older software version

Current versions of PicoScope would be compatible with your OS and work fine as long as the PC has sufficient resources (RAM and processor speed)

The only reason you would need an older release is that the current release is kinda broken.

Re: multiply channels by using more scopes

Some of our users do this. This was the subject of our September 2018 Group Therapy webinar. This is tricky as you might trigger off two different engine cycles if you don't start them at exactly the same instant. That being said, at no point would the two scopes be truly in sync no matter what. It'...
