Re: Pico Flow meters

I just bought the flow meter to use it with pico 4425. Do you have a video where somenone is showing connections and measuring flow, temperature and pressure Hi Victor, You may already be aware that within the Early Access build of PicoScope 7 you will find the Heavy Duty and Off Highway guided tes...

Re: Intermittent DTC, poor contact nightmares

Hi Roman, Thank you for this and as someone that tries to replicate faults, especially those from case studies to help highlight how the scope has helped, this really isn't easy! This is a real resource and overview for people to see how and where the scope can be used for these types of issues whic...

Re: One waveform One picture

Following on from the previous post on parasitic drain, here comes another one! To begin with I can take no credit for this post. All the hard work was done by Paul Foster who kindly sent over the article. I’ve just purely put the picture and the waveform together. Enjoy! I wanted to bring to your a...

Re: 2009 Iveco Daily IV 2.3 jtd 94KW No rail pressure

Hello Eugene, To clarify there is fuel coming out of the common rail leak off port but not from the leak off on the pump? Have you also performed an injector leak off test? Did we confirm the low pressure fuel system was OK? If not, can you supply an external supply of fuel to the high pressure pump...

Re: 2009 Iveco Daily IV 2.3 jtd 94KW No rail pressure

Hello, To prevent anyone duplicating work, please can we use the existing post you started on the Diagnostic Discussion board as seen here - https://www.picoauto.com/support/topic23301.html. There are some tests that need some clarification on this post which I think will help get direction on this ...

Re: 2009 Iveco Daily IV 2.3 jtd 94KW No rail pressure

Hello Eugene, Apologies for any confusion. With regards to a grounding issue, I meant the measurement not the component so where you have connected the black, ground lead of the test lead. If you can connect the scope up with a current clamp as if you were performing a relative compression test, inc...

Re: 2009 Iveco Daily IV 2.3 jtd 94KW No rail pressure

Hi, Looking at the capture there may be some connection issues with grounding but that aside you have a duty cycle of around 50% which shows the ECU is sending a command to the pump which would allows some fuel into the pumping chambers to start creating flow. Given you have 0 Bar of pressure I woul...

Re: Volvo VNL Class 8 can waveform help

Hello, As Martyn has said a PSDATA file will greatly help us with your question, even a screen shot would help us get an idea of what you're seeing. In terms of understanding CAN we have a large number of resources on this subject. The guided tests are always a good place to start which can show you...

Re: New guided tests

Thanks Paul. It's nice that they are out there and out of my brain mostly! Couple of bits of snagging to do but on the most part they should be useful.

I've got some ideas for the next ones but if you think of anything please let me know.

Kind regards

Ben

New guided tests

Hi all, Some news to share with everyone. There will be more about this in the upcoming newsletters but thought I'd get peoples thoughts on 10 new guided tests that have made it into the Early Access version of PicoScope 7. HDOH tests.png There will be more content for PicoScope and HD and OH applic...
