Re: Fiat 1.3 JTD Intermitant Poor Start

Hi Don't condemn the ECU yet - the readings you get from your pressure regulator(DRV) looks suspicious - they should not be that high. When your engine is at idle speed and the rail pressure are between 300 to 400 bar you should expect a reading around 450 to 550 milli amps. The DRV valve could be s...

Re: An ignition question

Hi The amplitude looks very small - only at 690 millivolt peak to peak and when I have seen some ECU specification´s claiming at least 700 mV for the ECU to recognize the signal - so I would say it looks a little bit suspect. One thing to remember when we are dealing inductive sensor´s is the engine...

Re: 2003 Clio P0170

Hi Are all the values for both STFT and LTFT negative ? Long term fuel trim at minus 96 is a pretty high figure regardless what condition these values are taken under. Negative LTFT at minus 96 % - that could indicate that the engine is running rich and one way to verify this - is to look at your la...

Re: TDCI leak back test

Hi Robski

Would they fit a Bosch sensor on a Delphi system ?

No - I don't think so.
It was meant as a guideline which I think is usable in this situation, when we dont have any reliable data for the moment. :)

Re: TDCI leak back test

Hi LEGACY7770

If your Transit 2.0 TDCI is equipped a with Bosch # 0 265 005 303 pressure sensor which ranging from 0 bar to 1500 bar - I will say that 1326 bar of pressure equals 4.036 volt.

Should your range be between 0 to 1800 bar - shall the value be 3.44 volt.

Re: New coil + Ign module

Hi Liteace The oscilloscope image of the distributor pick-up seems a little inconsistent - i would have thought that the amplitude should have the same height. There may be a issue with the pickup signal polarity - I have read that if one use a GM HEI module must the signal needs to turn on with a p...

Re: New coil + Ign module

Hi Liteace Do you have a oscilloscope image of the pickup from the ignition distributor ? I would be nice to see if the signal are making some disturbances to GM HEI module. As you can see on this image taken from a High Energy Ignition Circuit MC3334 from Motorola which are used in the GM HEI modul...

Re: Vauxhall Corsa y13dt Barometric problem!

Hi colin I must correct my self from what i earlier had said. I have misinterpreted some of the information you gave in your post. The barometric pressure would always be a stable reading if you stay at the same level - for example at sea level. The barometric pressure at sealevel are 101.3 Kpa and h...

Re: Vauxhall Corsa y13dt Barometric problem!

Hi Colin I would trust my picoscope if i were you. I have managed to find the right specifications on this map sensor Bosch # 0281002844 - that will say how the scale are. Lower value: 400 millibar = 688...823 mV Upper value: 2100 millibar = 3833...3968 mV There must be something else wrong since th...
