Re: 2003 Clio P0170

Hi, Connect your scope up to the lambda sensor and a second channel to the MAP/ MAF (which ever you have on this engine). This should give you a better idea of whats happening in terms of fueling. Would be useful if you save the waveforms and upload them on here so other members can see them. Matt

Re: 2001 chrysler town and country

Hi,

Could you post actual readings (fuel pressure etc) and waveforms. You will get more help that way.

Is the fuel pressure or CAM/ crank changing when you operate the key the second time?

Re: Vauxhall Corsa y13dt Barometric problem!

Hi,

Have you access to another scan tool to check the live data you are getting?

Vauxhall TIS has a test plan you could work through.

Re: How to create reliable stable Current Drain

Hi,

Did you try the heating element; I would expect the current draw to change dependant on temp?

Also have you looked at the teslite pro for loading testing?

Re: 6 wire lambda

You need a low current clamp something like 0 - 450mA to get good trace.

If you are able to measure current take care when looking at the rich / lean values.

There is only a very small change in current too.

Re: Ignition

Hi, Now I come to think of it you're correct; I disconnected the current clamp and forgot to zero it again when I reconnected to scope to take this capture. That explanis that. WONT forget that again lol. Yes the vovlo information agrees that it has both componets. The amp is bolted to the inner win...

Re: Ignition

Sorry didn't give you any background info. There isn't an issue with the car as such. Did some other small jobs on it and had some spare time at lunch so thought I would try getting a bit of pratice with the new pico. Trying to get to grips with setups etc. Been looking through Frank Massey books, C...

Ignition

Hi all, Trying to get to grips with the pico scope and would like to ask for comments on the attached waveform. Would I be correct in thinking that the primary earth is incorrect, from all the information and example waveforms I have looked at I would expect approx 500mv rather than 2 volts?? Also t...
