Re: 2003 Clio P0170

Hi,

What voltage are you getting from MAP with key on engine off? Would expect 4.8ish volts, even 0.3V out of spec has potential to cause big fueling errors. I don't have a known good for this engine, maybe someone else does.

Why would you expect a lean mixture under full throttle?

Re: Audi A4 EGR fault

Try putting a current clamp around wiring on pin 5 at same time as taking voltage trace and post result up

Re: Audi A4 EGR fault

Under 'control unit functions' (maybe differnt on your tool) you should be able to perform basic settings on EGR valve, It will need to be perfomed on new valve.

Re: Audi A4 EGR fault

Have you got VW ErWin account, may be worth buying a wiring diagram for this.

Have you reset adaptions and carried out all required basic settings?

Re: 2003 Clio P0170

Hi, Try increasing the time base further so you have maybe 20 - 30 seconds across the screen. There are no hard and fast rules so just change it until you get the fast idle, full throttle and return to idle on one screen capture. It's all good learning :P . I need to have a better look at what you u...

Re: rover 25 p0722

Hi, Call autodata and see if they can look up some more detailed info, they have access to much more than they can put on CD etc. Does this gearbox have a input shaft speed sensor, if so could well be same sensor and you could swap and see if fault changes. When fault occurs are there any signs of m...

Re: rover 25 p0722

Hi,

Maybe worth connecting to all 3 wires as if you lose the signal during test drive you can at least confirm if power and grounds remainded ok.
