Re: Polo 1,2 3-Cyl. - WPS 500 Pressure Question

Hello again,

It's interesting to see WPS Readings of each Cylinder.
And further ...

It may be worthwhile to note the oil pressure at high engine speeds.
Too much oil pressure may not allow the valves to close.

You can suspect the weak valve springs (do not have time to close).

Good luck.

Re: Polo 1,2 3-Cyl. - WPS 500 Pressure Question

Hi,

Could you specify what problems with the engine are currently.

Could you show the work of all the cylinders? :?:

Thank you.

Re: Inverted scope trace

Hi,

It seems that you have questions with a compression in one cylinder. :?:

When measuring the lambda, you selected a probe for ignition. :?:

The straight line of the second probe means you have a working catalyst.

good luck :D

I have a Manual 96 Civic at 281,000 miles. .......... - it is difficult to start the car, unless it's on a downhill............. Any suggestions on what I should check first? HI, You do not give any specific measurement ... :?: :?: :?: Based on your description: - Measure the fuel pressure.

....... The starter motor and alternator are lightweight racing items from Brise and the battery is a Lithium Ion race battery. ........... Re: Alternator voltage spike

Hi, It seems your description of the problem is not very informative ... I dare to assume that because of incompatibility of your components or errors in their connection. Perhaps you see pulses of the injectors (which can have such a voltage), but there may be ignition pulses. It would be nice to s...

Re: Piezo injector operation. Current vs voltage

You can see the circuit ecu-injector as an oscilator circuit, electrons go from ecu to inj and reverse, but voltage to ground does not change polarity. Hard to explain. So in the first post, the diagram absolutely NOT TRUE. And on the examples from Steve and victor2k everything is correct. It was i...

Re: Piezo injector operation. Current vs voltage

Hello,

But why in the first example current starts changed  before than changing voltage
These two events must begin at the same time or how ?
Explain please.
Thank you
