kerry, i could very well be wrong, but i'm gonna add this little bit anyway. i believe the RED senx sensor that is hooked into the fuel rail works the way you described. it shows a positive pulse for a pressure drop, and a negative pulse for a pressure rise. this is going off of memory, so please fo...

just a suggestion as i may have misread what you were saying. it might be wise to use a temp gun to determine the battery temperature instead of using ambient temp for this test.

ron, did you come out ok with the engine rebuilder on this one? did they remove the crank to put the right reluctor in? or did they try the trick mick talked about?
