Re: Waveform Library Reform

Thanks to all for that feedback. There will be a project to make some improvements to the database but we also have several projects queued up ahead of this so whilst the feedback is valuable it will take some time (probably next year) before we get around to this. The only way to speed this up is i...

Re: Waveform Library Reform

Hi Mark, Thanks for the suggestions. There are certainly a lot of waveforms in the database but the different search options should make it easy to get to the relevant one(s). What waveform were you looking for and what ones got in the way. We do enforce that a number of fields are filled in for a w...

Re: New to the technology

Good luck with your PicoScope journey. For many people getting to know how to use a scope totally changes how they approach diagnostics (for the better). To get started I suggest you read scope school and watch PicoScope basics both of which can be found here https://www.picoauto.com/library/training

Re: Hello from St. Louis, MO, USA

Welcome to the forum. For finding known good waveforms the first place to look is the waveform library https://www.picoauto.com/library/waveform-library

If you can not find what you need there then ask here as other users can often help.

Re: Noise Levels between Scope Models 3243 vs 4425

Hi Richard, You ask for suggestions, a bit of a long shot but if the noise is still there when the vehicle goes to sleep then we are already in the twilight zone of diagnostics. How about making sure the noise is still there on the scope screen then disconnecting the main battery. If it goes away th...

Re: Buffer Count stops at 331 ...

Hi Richard,

Please can you load your (180M) file into PicoScope then use file / save as to save a settings file (.pssettings) which will have the settings you used but not the data so should be very small to upload.

We can then have a look at what is happening.

Alan
