I notice the voltage drop outs look almost the same to one I had on a Vauxhall recently. Original post here http://www.picoauto.com/support/topic9718.html
Turns out it's the ECU doing an earth check and can be ignored. This might be the case with the Honda too.

Re: Acc. Pedal Position
Hi Car is back today, but we are snowed under with work that we cant get near it :( My boss got the mobile diagnostic guy to look at it as he was down programming EGR on another astra. Looks like the problem is in the under bonnet fuse board as some corrosion was found there, so he gave it a clean u...

Re: Acc. Pedal Position
Thanks for the additional replies. It's good to know that these drop outs can be normal for Vauxhalls, so thanks for the info :) Customer has taken the car back over the weekend and we should see it again next week. The annoying thing is it never faults with us! According to the customer it never fa...

Re: Acc. Pedal Position
Just trying to browse the diagram while having a bite to eat and speak to customers! I see it seems to pop through the instrument cluster, then through underbonnet fuse box then onto the ECU. Would these other components cause the track 2 voltage to drop out? The 5volts remains constant for the trac...

Re: Acc. Pedal Position
Ok, car came back today!! Checked earths and 5volt feeds at multiplug. All spot on. Track 2 drops voltage same as before. Have tested both 5volts and earths when it happens, and both remain stable :? Everything has been checked at pedal. Went and carried out tests as per vauxhall tech info, and it t...

Acc. Pedal Position
Hi guys, Had an Astra diesel go into limp mode. Code read and had a couple of codes for accelerator position sensor tracks 1 and 2. So, thought this can be tested with the scope and off I went. On zooming in on the attached waveform I could see the signal drop off slightly every so often on track 2 ...

Re: Fiat Doblo 1.3
It is annoying not getting to the bottom of things. Speaking the customer tonight, we advised getting the injectors tested, but they don't think they will due to possible costs of removing them etc. They also mention how they put Redex in the fuel tank. everytime they did this, there is a noticeable...

Skye, a place I've never been too.
A little too far to bring the Doblo, not sure the customer would be too happy

Re: Fiat Doblo 1.3
Ok, Doblo all built up ready for customer to collect. They need it back again, so can't do much else with it. I tested the fuel return pressure and it is sitting at 1bar. Neil, your correct about the modern cars. Nothing should be overlooked. Customer has been advised about the glow plugs. Hopefully...
