This particular pump is a two section gear pump. This machine has had an issue of cracking a fitting about once a week for the last 4-5 weeks, a -16 ORFS elbow, that sees 3,600 psi oil from the tilt section of the pump (channel 2). Great write up and repair, I'm very excited to do some similar jobs. I purchased a couple wps600c pressure transducers, and have a couple lower pressure (non pico) transducers on their way. I have a few HEUI diesel engines that my customers own that would benefit from jobs like this.

I’ve just ordered the WPS600C sensors to start trying to implement them into my heavy equipment repair business with my 4425A pico. Hope to use them for hydraulic testing on mining equipment.

The repair on the D11 I had a short clip on video, in this one I was using my 2204A and not my 4425A, crawling around on large machines, sometimes I use the cheap scope if great accuracy and deep memory isn’t needed.

I work around quite a few cat machines, I could hook my 4425A to a 966G next week most likely. I just fixed a D11R CDL issue, can wires were shorting to ground, watching the wave form in real time was so much faster than hunting for a rub spot.
