Re: Help with crank sensor signal

Not sure what happened with the last waveforms as after i restarted my laptop it gave a completely different waveform.
What are your thoughts on this?
It's a hall sensor so should be switching between 0v & 5v?

thanks

Help with crank sensor signal

Hi all, not had my pico long and trying to start using it more as it's an expensive doorstop :-) I have a 2006 caddy van with a 1.9TDi which isn't seeing a crank sensor signal, the engine will start after prolonged cranking but is showing a crank sensor fault code and also the torsion value shows 0d...

CAN BUS waveform

hi all, my first use of the picoscope on a 2005 Caddy van with multiple CANBUS communication issues. I have a constant 2.5v so would i be correct in thinking that there is a short between CAN H & CAN L? Resistance is 60ohms across the H&L so this would indicate resistors are ok? Next step to start d...

Re: 4425A Standard kit

Hi Kev,
thanks for the reply.
I did think they looked like some kind of HT lead but the guy in the video refers to them as fuse extensions.
I'll get back to my supplier and request the leads.

cheers

4425A Standard kit

Hi all,
I have just been watching the youtube video-

at 2m 37sec it mentions some fuse extensions which I don't appear to have. It's the two black ones with the earthing strap, I have the two smaller red ones.
Should these be in the kit?

thanks
