Re: New Holland CR7.9 No DFR Function

Cutting the wire at the UCM was discussed, I decided to follow the second level support advice of replacing the harness, as I was told they "never" find the computer to be the issue.. Re: Intermittent CANbus short to ground?

Have ran into this before, different brand of machinery but same type issue, the fault shows up to the operator as a soft failure of can c or the engine can. Typical finds are harnessing issues near the hot side of the engine, routing issues, etc… other finds are normally a engine or exhaust sensor ...

Re: Diesel In cylinder pressure HELP

Not sure how you know or don’t know it’s running even on all 4 cylinders, please explain what testing has been done to support this, I suggest again adding a timing sync to your WF, would also be able to rule out timing by checking a a correlation of the cmp and ckp .

Re: Bosch Denoxtronic 2.2

That’s interesting, Mack does not use a temp sensor all temp input is from ambient and def sender, in the CNH product I have found that depending on machine model (likely due to origin of design and manufacturing) I have found info indicating some use an internal temp while other do not… imagine how...

Re: Diesel In cylinder pressure HELP

RYM6746, no expert myself, from what I think I know, you are looking at an exh valve leak on the cylinder you were testing.. Possibly you have a timing issue, since you indicate no timing codes, no mechanical timing issue that you've found and your MAF code indicates a air flow problem. Post compres...

Re: Injector Waveform: Ford Mondeo MK3 1.8 Duratec HE 2006

cant say I know anything about the particular model in question I can tell you that in heavy trucks there is a strategy called low NOx idle, in the past it caused many issues with techs trying to diagnose an issue that was not an issue but rather a strategy by the OE for NOx reduction during low coo...
