Thanks for the help guys, I've seen it mentioned that the leak back is a good indicator as Piezo injectors often have leak back going sideways rather than upwards would you say that is a good indicator?
No !!

Re: Vito 2006 646.980

I ive sent all injectors away for testing and they say they're not leaking at all. Injectors cannot be tested properly off the car. it appears that it is overfueling You CANNOT over fuel a Diesel engine. The rpm will rise in direct proportion to the fuel injected !! bosch piezo injectors but snap on...

Mercedes 2015 - W212 - 220Cdi. Auxiliary Battery

I have this car with an Auxiliary Battery Internal Resistance Fault. In live data it seems to be happy when the resistance is below 1ohm, then it will jump to 2.55 and throw the fault and the warning will appear in the cluster. I suspect that 2.55 is not correct, more so the equivalent of Hex "FF" a...

Re: Idle Speed Control Valve current waveform?

On any actuator Voltage will show command whereas Current will show "Work Done" by that component. With experience, product knowledge, technical data amongst other things, a lot of diagnostic value can be gained from a current measurement ! Further more if there is no voltage command there cannot be...

Re: Data over PWM?

Hi Steve A few years ago it was quite an eye opener when I discovered that a single wire from an MAF could signal both Intake Air Temp & Air Mass Values without using data. They simply varied both Duty for one value & Frequency for the other within the PWM signal. Very cunning ! Years ago the ECT on...
