Re: Renault C460 Misfire

I did ring the dealer and sadly the tools aren't available to us, the part no.s go in and they even relate to the tools in your link but we can't buy them  It seems Volvo at least in the UK anyway don't recognize this as a repair to the problem and their solution is to replace the rocker arm a...

Re: Volvo D7e fuel system woes, beware Long Story

Hi Carl, I didn’t look for the filings in the filter as someone had been there before me and replaced it but to be fair I stopped worry about them as when these very first come out the company I worked for at the time had a full fleet of them as skip lorry’s and we used to service them 12 weekly and...

Re: Renault C460 Misfire

I don't suppose you know the part no. for the tool? Some of their tools are fairly cheap so could be worth having in the tool box, some tools are stupid expensive like the old piece of roof rack they use for lifting the rocker shaft which was about £900 I wouldn't be without it tho :D

Re: Volvo D7e fuel system woes, beware Long Story

Thanks for the input, yes that test is the exact same as what I do on this system. When I find hi returns volume the capping of the injectors does pinpoint the problem injector pretty accurately and has never failed me on this system in the past. I have seen it where all 6 injectors have failed on t...

Re: Volvo D7e fuel system woes, beware Long Story

Part 2 ... So at this point feeling a little disheartened with all time I had in it and feeling a little sorry for myself I gave up, I fitted the original pump, I was sure the pump was a problem but not the only one it had and I was getting behind with everything else that needed to be done so I ask...

Re: Mack/Volvo MP8/D13 delphi injector current ramp

Hi Mathis I’m interested in how you got on and have you got any reading, do a lot of Volvo diagnostics. Will be trying to scope injectors next week on a intermittent injector fault on a Volvo FM D11 engine. Same type of injector. What age is the Volvo? I have some injector current captures mostly f...

where the laptop can be connected to the scope via usb and then have a tablet that mirrors the laptop via the remote ripple and you can control the laptop from the tablet
Wireless or bluetooth keyboard will do that.
