Fuel Pressure Adapter

Hello group, thanks in advance for your help.

I have searched and searched... I cannot find an industry standard quick coupler size for the fuel fittings used on some of the US kits. It is not a series 2 or FST. Anyone have a link or industry name for this coupler/plug they would be able to share?

Re: tach signal

I am guessing the ELM device you have is a poor quality clone, there are so many out there. The clones have multiple connectivity issues due to quality and they clone an older version of the ELM327 chip. There is an ELM327 Identifier app available to test your device. I beta tested multiple ELM devi...

Re: sync to RPM

I am sure the guys at Pico will link you to a more thorough explanation but I have a few suggestions. You could use something like the cam, crank, or ignition pulses to create a math channel and graph the RPM. That way you could trigger off the RPM signal. You could also use the optical pickup that ...

Re: TA018 Amp Clamp Negative mA reading?

You will like the TA189 much better for parasitic draw. A tip I have found helpful is to zero the current probe right next to where you will place it on the vehicle. I hold the current probe next to the battery cable, hit the zero button and then clamp it. This may be overkill for current ramping an...

Re: Picoscope 7 Feedback

Thank you Ben. I appreciate all of your hard work, the software is great so far. One thing I noticed is that files created in Picoscope 7 cannot be opened in 6. Is there a patch that can be made in 6 to open the files? If it is a lot of work it is not worth it though. The only reason I ask is a tech...

Picoscope 7 Feedback

Hello, I love the interface and user friendliness of Picoscope 7, great job! Below are just a few suggestions I have so far. Can you guys add an x10 channel option? Selecting the 10:1 attenuator leaves limited voltage sweep choices, many techs used the x10 setting in Picoscope 6 for attenuators. For...

Automotive Ethernet

I do mobile diag and we see a ton of network issues, it seems like more than 1/3 of our calls are network related. With Ethernet on cars now it is only a matter of time before we start seeing ground issues, voltage leakage in connectors, and so on causing issues. I know the average shop would not ha...

Re: Pico NVH Videos

Steve, excellent videos with great info! Thanks for posting! If the time domain video doesn't convince techs to use these tools for diagnostics... they must like working too hard :)
