UPDATE, i redone in cyl comp test on all 4 and cyl 3 has no compression, and cyl 1 & 2 has the vacuum event noted, only cyl 4 seems to have good spec and hardly any vacuum event.

rescoped after refit of cambelt with pins, seems to have vacuum now and early valve event? your thoughts pls

hi , attached is new more complete test including cam, crank, injector no 1 and in no 1 cylinder pressure test with wpx500, still no dtc's logged, fuel pressure only start increasing after 20 seconds of cranking , i suppose as result of incorrect cam crank correlation? your thoughts is highly apprec...

hi g-makin, has this problem been resolved yet, as i have freelander 2 2.2 diesel, currently awaiting in cylinder comp test as i also gone through same process. mine has timing problem but exact same symptoms, but no start condition, in progress. it does build upto 23000kpa but only after 20 seconds...

HI All, i have isuzu nqr500 truck with 4hk engine, while driving intermittently it cuts out momentarily. i scoped the crank sensor as i tested while stationary and doing wiggle test on wiring. this is ac signal received from sensor but varies from factory as it does not seem to have sufficient + vol...

Update, on changing cambelt using factory locking tools the variance in correlation seems to me to have gone worse. blue is voltage relative comp test, green crank hall effect and red camshaft hall effect, voltage seems high on cam sensor as well? i am getting fuel pressure but only after 20 seconds...

will it be possible to forward me the actual psd file so i can measure as well at what degree i am out if possible?

i will update case once problem is located, it has cambelt and separate chain between cams.

Hi Sir, having worked for the brand 25 years i do know there was a repair kit for simular reason.it has included a new substitute harness and fuel rail presure sensor replacement due to wiring breaking of and or getting high resistance within connector pins, causing simular symptoms.
