Re: Scope turning off and software hang ups

Hi Andy I get this myself especially with the software locking up and returning after unplugging the scope. I found it only happens after a software upgrade but in my experience I've found deleting the Scope Driver from Device Manager and re-installing the driver helps to rectify this. Might be wort...

Re: 6.7.19.2

Sounds like the drivers possibly corrupted, best thing to do is delete the driver and re install it, simple process. If you right click on 'My Computer' or 'Computer' depending upon your version of windows, then click on 'Manage' This takes you to the Computer Management Control. On the left hand si...

Re: PicoScope 2104

Well sometimes you just need to know what can be done so safe advice is as good as any and as you seemed persistant you were gonna use it, best know whats safe otherwise its a lot of money to waste so best keep within the tolerances of the scope. Re: PicoScope 2104

I understand what you mean, we all like to play with new toys  The only advice i could give you in conjunction in using the 2104 on Automotive Applications, not T&M Applications as this isnt really our field, is to keep to circuits under 20 Volts as this is the limit of the Scope. Definatley Ig...

Hi The PicoScope 2104 is a Test and Measurement scope for use really with low level circuits. It will only function in the Standard NON Automotive Software. For Automotive use with this scope you risk not only damage and breakage to the 2104 Scope but possibly to yourself as its not designed with th...

Re: Parasitic draw test

Hi Neil

Have you tried turning the Clamp around, i.e. remove it from the wire, flip it over and place it on the wire again.

it will show positive one way and negative the other.

Kind Regards
