Re: J1939 CAN bus Loading

Hello, Thanks Roman for the advice. To add further if you have the latest stable or early access version of PicoScope 7 Automotive take a look at the new heavy duty and off highway guided tests. There is a built in J1939 serial decoding test which will preload the settings required to make the captu...

Re: uploading waveforms

Hi Andy, Any chance you could grab a screenshot of the upload page in the waveform manager? You should be able to see the scope model and serial number. You can then import files or a folder from here and make any edits required without having to open each file. waveform manager.png Let us know and ...

Re: Cummins 6.7L Exhaust Brake Engaging When Accelerating

Hey Ryan, Thank you for the update and there's always something to learn! Great to have some closure on this one and it will be good to revisit the files again. Did you manage to get a known good or a confirmation of the fix with the new Holset turbo? Thanks again and glad all sorted. Kind regards Ben

Re: YouTube videos for heavy duty and off highway!

A real investment there Redmech but hopefully the benefits of being able to look at hydraulic pressure with other signals as well as the detail from WPS600C will no doubt pay for itself quickly. We do have some Pico users in the mining industry. Will be good to see more coming into the Pico communit...

Re: Magnetic transducer for engine rpm on Cat diesel 3126

Hi Redmech, Great to hear success stories with Pico in non-automotive industries. We know it would work but always nice to hear the win's! It doesn't look like your waveform has uploaded. We have had some problems with attachments on the forum but they should be sorted now. Is it possible to try and...

Re: J1939: Hybrid bus VDL: Elektro Motor RPM

Hello, Thank you for your post. NVH for EVs is something we continue to work with and EVs in heavy duty using J1939 is on our radar. As development continues it maybe we need some support with various vehicles and if required we would approach Pico users to see if they would be able to help. Fingers...

Re: Volvo B12B J1587/J1708

Hello LEØ, Thanks Steve for jumping in here, I too cannot find MID 140 for the Instrument Cluster. Following on from the decoding topic here - https://www.picoauto.com/support/topic22640.html we can see the data being decoded into the MID and PID data. Remember due to the UART decoder we cannot rely...

Re: Software updates...

Hi Technician, Thanks for the feedback. We are aware there are some niggles with the printing that are on the backlog for the software teams to review. I will add your comments to the tickets. It is possible to add markers which may make things a little easier but appreciate not ideal. Thanks again ...

Re: Differences between Denox 2.2 and Cummins aftertreatment systems

Hi Paul, All is well here thank you, just starting to get a little colder now! Trust all is well over there. Reading back up the comments on this post, krabkakes posted that from 2021 all NA and EU Paccar engines swapped to the Cummins system. It may be that NA moved earlier to the Cummins system th...
