Re: Waveform overlay

Hello, I'm sorry you are still finding it difficult to create the reference you require. From your last post, you are going to need to save the reference waveform and then import it back into another file. The methods in the videos above look at creating a reference and then taking a live ...

Re: Waveform overlay

Hello,

Not a problem. I've put the following video together which I'm hoping will help with any confusion.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards

Re: Waveform overlay

Hello, Apologies for the late reply. It is of course possible to create, save and import reference waveforms into PS7. If you are looking to create a reference from a previous capture to then compare pre and post fix, the following video will help as I walk through loading a file in and then ...

Re: High pressure fuel sensor no ground, SENT signal

Thanks again all for the continued updates on this subject. SENT is here to stay that's for sure and the better we understand it the better we can diagnose it - we live and learn together as Mr Smith would say! Just picking up on a point above which got me thinking was the tick time where Jarkko has ...

Re: ? Building Custom Probes in PS7?

To follow on from this, there has been a few requests for the PicoBNC+ pressure transducer to be converted to psi. The same process applies as per Steve's instructions when creating a custom probe on top of a PicoBNC+ probe. With the PicoBNC+ pressure transducer connected open the Channel options ...

Re: Smart Sensors

Hi Dave, Great captures and thank you for sharing. I would agree with you that the NOx data does appear to be a straight conversion from the first 2 bytes to decimal. The oxygen though is leaving a little to the imagination if we following the same rules! I've put the decoded date and using the ...

Re: Smart Sensors

Hi Dave, I think the data I have sadly has no activity from the NOx sensors, so possibly still in the warm up phase. The PGN FF17 = 65303 DEC and when looking that up on the isobus.net website we can see it is a proprietary message. It will be tricky to correlate the decoded values in Pico with live ...

Re: RS PRO 508-2704 flow transducer probe setting

Hello vsundar2, Thank you for your post and sorry for the late reply. I see you have sent a support ticket in which if OK, we will go back to using. There are a number of questions I need to ask and communication might be easier on the help desk rather than the forum. When we have a solution I can ...

Re: difference between Beta version 1.9.5 build 2799 and version 1.16.144 build 0

Hello, There should be no issue with using the latest stable as many of the features available with the beta version you have been using will have moved over to 1.16.444. This version includes all the necessary protocols for working with agricultural equipment where I expect it is using J1939. You ...

Re: Heavy vibration under load between 1500-2000rpm Diesel

Hi Roy, Thanks for sharing this and it seems that this case has got very involved! That being said, it is a perfect opportunity for the Pico NVH kit as you say. Looking back through the history it has had a lot going on. Thank you for capturing this as I know it can take time. Looking through the ...
