Re: Single wire CAN on CP Circuit

Hi tymcgee, I've uploaded it to the waveform library so as long as you've got an automotive scope you'll be able to grab it from there. Search under Tesla. If you need any further information please feel free to send in a message to support@picotech.com and put FAO of Ben Martins and we can always d...

Re: hello

Hello and welcome to the forum! Great to see more ag technicians here. A good place to start would be to take a look at the dedicated heavy duty and off highway sections on the forum - https://www.picoauto.com/support/forum483.html. As a New Holland service tech did you know that you should already ...

Re: J1939 CAN Decoder

Hi PaulW,

Not a problem. I've recently carried out some filming showcasing the J1939 decoder and also looking at Link Files. Hopefully this will be another resource.

Kind regards

Ben

Hola Antonio, Forgive me for not replying in your language, but I wouldn't want to accidently insult anyone! Great to have you on the forum. It's a huge source of information which can be a little overwhelming. A place to head in this instance is the Useful Links section - which as the title suggest...

Re: Mercedes M120 Ignition Coil Testing

Hi there, Apologies for the late reply. As vasek has mentioned, current is the safest way to measure these COP styles if you're unsure. In my experience 3 wire COP units tend to have the primary winding in the COP unit so you will only have a supply, trigger and a feedback. Much the same as our guid...

Re: Strange DAF LF can bus problem

Hi, And apologies for the late reply on this. As mentioned being able to ensure which ECU's are online is going to be key here. I would be making use of the J1939 decoder and use the source address list to determine which ECU's are on which network. This is assuming you have an automotive PicoScope ...

Re: Relative compression test

Hello, Thank you for your post and sorry for the late reply. This type of setup is found in a number of places and was even seen on a Toyota Landcruiser at one point! I have seen this setup on a combine where, as shown in your attachments, the dual batteries are connected in parallel but the starter...

Re: MT03A

Hi liviu, I think the follow up video will answer a number of these questions but I'll try to give some examples where we have been using this tool. We've seen a requirement in vehicle manufacturers technical information surrounding high voltage, 3 phase electric motors where a technician is require...
