Re: Picoscope 7 Feedback

Hi Matt, Generally .psdata file can be opened in both PicoScope 6 and PicoScope 7. However, if the file has been saved in PicoScope 7, using a 4425A/4225A, then PicoScope 6 cannot recognise the Probe settings. In order to open such a file correctly in PicoScope 6, you will need to remove any connect...

Re: Picoscope 7 Feedback

Hi all,

Just need to clarify custom probes. In the current build custom probes are not present but as I've mentioned they are being worked on. Hopefully they will be out soon and sorry for any confusion.

Kind regards

Ben

Re: Picoscope 7 Feedback

Hi Matt, Thanks for your feedback. It's great to hear the positive comments which I will share with the software team. Regarding the x10 option, there will be some changes made here so hopefully this will be made clearer. Pretty sure the US techs aren't stuck in the stone age! Fahrenheit is on the l...

Re: Views and Reference Waveforms

Hi Doug, Glad you've sorted and yes you are right. Although you cannot create one reference waveform using all 4 channels, you can create individual ones which you can then store in your library to call upon. You can then add them all to the same scope view or viewport. I've added another video belo...

Re: clay bird thrower

Hello, Thank you for your post. I think what you are trying to achieve can be done by adding a measurement and then selecting the DC average between the rulers. I've attached a short video on how this is done but if this isn't quite what you was hoping for then please let us know and we can discuss ...

Re: Using alarms to auto save captures

Hi all, Glad this has been useful. The next one I was planning to do would involve using a mask in conjunction with an alarm to trip the software and save the capture, which maybe a better option for you MaxGas. We have some information which you can find here - https://www.picoauto.com/support/topi...

Using alarms to auto save captures

Hi all, Another quick video on how to setup an alarm to auto save captures. This could be useful when on a road test. Be careful with how you set these alarms up though as they can fill up your hard drive very quickly! Hopefully the video will help and any questions please ask. Kind regards Ben

Views and Reference Waveforms

This may or may not be useful but I saw someone discussing this and thought I would demonstrate how it can be achieved in both PS6 and PS7. Hope it helps. Stay safe everyone. Ben
