Re: ta43w

No. The TA432 resistance probe is designed to be used with BNC+ connections. BNC+ connections are only found on Picoscope hardware that can apply voltage to probes such as current probes without batteries and the resistance probe.

The Pico 4444 T & M scope uses D9 connections not BNC+.

Re: Increase time base while viewing saved waveform

Click on the magnifying glass, top right of graphical area. When the zoom controls open, look for "1:1". If the 1:1 is grayed out, you are already zoomed out fully showing all data in the capture/buffer. From what I can gather from your images, the dealer tech operating the scope has too little amou...

Re: No. samples

I don't know how the number in brackets is calculated or what it means. The number in brackets appears when Interpolation is turned on in Preferences. ON=smoothing of line connecting sample points. OFF=no smoothing/ straight lines connect sample points.

Re: LIN Bus decoder & LIN Controlled Alternators

Ben, I've been over and over your original post. I've tried to apply your technique to a LIN waveform from a 2018 Lexus. I can get through the LIN decode in Pico, exporting as .csv, saving as Excel workbook, found the applicable table in the AR6000 document and copied it into Excel. The problem I am...

Re: Picoscope 7

I realize this doesn't answer your question specifically. For parasitic draw, I use trigger "none", then set the timebase according to how long I want to record the data in one buffer/waveform/screen, then verify the sample interval corresponds to the amount of detail I want. Start the scope wheneve...

I don't know what you mean by the phrase "Snap-On compression adapters." The Pico hose is the best.

Re: Am I interpreting this Oscilloscope reading correctly? (Ford 5.4L 3V)

My scope does not have isolated grounds between each channel so I cannot do a cam/crank relationship test, ... Re: Change Time Base

Yes i know, but when i record the signal with 20ms/div and the other one with 50ms/div i can not compare it I can't give you a tutorial in a forum post on how to use Pico Views and Reference Waveforms. Basically reference waveforms, scope views, zoom window, and scaling are how you accomplish what ...
