Re: 60MHZ probe

So it's a 10:1 attenuator. With some sort of fine tuning screw. Is this just a lead with a quick method of adding 10:1 attenuation?

Re: 60MHZ probe

Could somebody clarify for me exactly what the M1007 60 Mhz probe is for?

If it's for injector testing, I've just been using my 20:1 attenuators to prevent scope damage.

Monitoring coolant pressure with a sensor

A tuner colleague of mine recently turned me on to a neat trick we use in drag racing. To use a coolant pressure sensor (or oil pressure sensor) in the cooling system to detect problems with the engine. Typically, we may be running a bit too much timing, and as the motor warms up detonation sets in....

Re: wps 500

If you're new to the WPS500, I would suggest you set it to the highest pressure setting, and run it in a 4 stroke gasoline engine at idle. Don't forget to ground out the ignition wire, and unplug the injector on that cylinder while you're testing it. The waveforms on a cranking engine are not nearly...

Re: Hello from Drag Radial Performance

Hello Richard, The in-cylinder pressure readings are one of my favorite things. I need to learn more about them, and how the peak compression readings compare to traditional compression tests. But already, the potential here is exciting. While voltage is good, and amperage is great, I think it's pre...
