mitsubushi shogun 3.2 diesel -08 model.

Does anybody have any ideas please. The crankshaft waveform on this vehicle does not appear to pull to ground. The waveform is a hall effect digital square wave. The high is 5volts and the low is approx 800 milli-volts. I have replaced the sensor with a new one and the waveform is just the same-800m...

Re: Parasitic drain

Hi,(pointy things).
Thanks for the reply. Are you sure its the PP218 that you are using, as it does not appear to work for me. How would you connect it. We are talking milli-amps. Thanks a lot,
Peter.

Fuel pumps

Hi, Has anybody noticed that some new fuel pumps [check with your pico] do not rotate at 5-6000rpm [as the book says] - more like 3000rpm [multipoint]. You can check the commutator and the waveform but when you check your new pump, the waveform will be a remarkably different but the revs will be low...

A.F.S. Query

Hi, Can anyone help with this: Example--Vehicle response to throttle is flat---no power---picoscope tells me it is A.F.Sensor that is at fault. Which is o.k. My question is if i disconnect the electrical block connection to the A.F.S. why does the vehicle appear to run better and is responsive to th...

Sensor signal

Hi Thanks autonerdz for previous replies. Appreciate if anyone can help me with the following. Just a query. If I am looking at a waveform on the view, I can set the timebase to say 2ms/div. As you know I could also set it to say 20ms/div or any other speed fast or slow. These speeds are what I am l...
