Re: Hybrid A/C compressor testing

Hi Guys, Thanks for the replys. I appreciate your safety concerns and believe me i was not going to go sticking probes into HV wires. I have attended a one day Hybrid course but as you know this only scratches the surface and allows you to disable complete HV side safely. Perhaps I'll do the next le...

Hybrid A/C compressor testing

Hi guys and girls. Is there anyone who has used their pico to successfully look at waveforms from these hybrids with electrically driven compressors? There are going to be more and more on the market needing regassing and diagnosis. If so what precautions, accessories and settings did you use? I kno...

Re: Battery test. Stop start with 2 batteries.

Thanks for all the replies and valuable information.

I'm pretty sure i've gained a customer so I will perform a Battery test when I next see the vehicle.

Any other stop start vehicles i see will also be tested from now on and saved.

Thanks again,

Regards,
Iain :D

Re: Battery test. Stop start with 2 batteries.

Hi Steve, I was asked to fit a battery only (genuine Mercedes) and didn't have my pico with me so no saved files. The vehicle is a 2012 Mercedes B Class 180 cdi with stop start. The main battery is a AGM 80 ah , 800 CCA. The small battery I didn't remove and didn't see the specifications on it but i...

Battery test. Stop start with 2 batteries.

Hi, Could you tell me if the PicoDiagnostics software is capable of testing battery(s) and charging systems of these stop start vehicles with more than 1 battery. I found that some of the auxiliary batteries are small motorcycle types. Does this interfere with the readings for accurate diagnosis of ...

Re: Printing logo issues on battery test

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the update.

On my version that came with beta 6.7.2.1 I never saw the graph at the bottom of the page.

Is this in the newer release thats coming.

Re: Printing logo issues on battery test

Hi,

I would like to also see the full Battery test results in a printable format if possible.

It would look impressive to show a customer the printed battery test complete with colourful graphing.

Keep up the good work.

Iain

Re: 6.6.28.1 Stable Release

I have been uninstalling previous version before i update to latest for a while now.

Not sure you need to but i feel confident the software will run as its intended to.

Perhaps someone from Pico will clarify best procedure :?:
