Re: Flex-Ray Testing

Thanks I did think that might be the case? noting that the TA375 had a X10 attenuator switch, but when I looked through the preset probe settings I couldn't find any difference between the 2 , although no doubt this is down to me learning the new 7 software.

Flex-Ray Testing

Please can someone help explain this issue I'm having. I needed to test a Fkex-ray bus on a Audi A7, however before carrying out the test Pico 7 advises that normal test lead's aren't suitable and that a TS375 test probe is required. So I ordered one and in the meantime thought I'd check the bus wit...

Re: Volvo C 30 D (Ford 2.0 engine)

A new filter was fitted to the car after my investigation as there was a small amount of air ingress and as far as I know the problem hasn't returned.
Thanks again or all the input

Re: Volvo C 30 D (Ford 2.0 engine)

Seaford thank you so much for your input and I now understand what my waveform was showing me. Its a Siemens fuel system that's fitted to this engine and the fault in question can be very intermittent, sometimes it presents itself almost permanently and other times it might take 2 or 3 days to retur...

Volvo C 30 D (Ford 2.0 engine)

Hi everyone I'm a regular auto-spark really and I'm still/always learning engine diagnostics. Recently I've been working on a Volvo C 30 D that came to me with various electrical issues which have all been sorted bar one. I keep randomly getting a P0089 fuel pressure code which I can't get rid of. N...

Volvo V50 T5 Hesitating at 2500 rpm

Hi everyone I'm in the process of diagnosing a hesitation issue on a Volvo v50. At 2500 rpm the engine starts to hesitate very slightly but enough that you can feel a slight vibration through the body. The vehicle has already been investigated elsewhere and it has been suggested that the fuel pump r...

Re: Vauxhall Meriva Intermittent Misfire

Hello, What short and long fuel trim(lambda regulation) you can see on your system?Or maybe additive/multiplicative correction of lambda? Hi Victor when this engine is cold and before the lambda goes closed loop the misfire is much more prominent....So if anything.... additive/multiplicative cor...
