Try your scope in a different USB port Jarrod.

1.4.28 build 21

Hi, Have just downloaded the latest version of picoscope automotive and the picodiag software does not seem to be working? I am not getting an rpm detected no matter which car I try it on. I have the latest Java and Flash player installed and am running Vista. I have the 3423 scope. Any ideas? Have ...

App for viewing psdata files on apple iPad / mac

Hi,

Are there any plans in the pipeline for an iPad app to view psdata files?

It would be real handy for viewing uploaded forum files for those of us that leave the laptops at work and browse at night.

Cheers

Re: Lotus Esprit with low compression

I grabbed 10 minutes today and using Rod Mahers compression waveform viewer came to roughly the same conclusion, The valve opening durations and times are not as specified on the intake but neither are the exhaust. There is also fairly significant differences between the pressures and exhaust platea...

Re: Lotus Esprit with low compression

Hi Alan, Interesting captures, haven't got around to looking at the compression waveforms in detail yet. Looking at your snap throttle tests I can see you have compression issues coming off throttle. I have manipulated your psdatas to illustrate what I am looking at. Cheers Doc... http://img850.imag...

Re: Lotus Esprit with low compression

Hi Alan,

Can you post a link so I can download the psdata of the two relative compression tests please.

I want to have a closer look at the valve events on cylinders 3 & 4.

Cheers

Re: Lotus Esprit with low compression

Can you repeat the relative compression test as follows please: 1. Using the WPS in cylinder one as a synch so we can see the pressures 2. Show us the sync signal in the top half of the screen 3. Repeat the same test using the 600 amp inductive clamp and Cyl1 sync with WPS Can you do a cylinder bala...

Re: running comp test

Hi,

Should add that the info is from another company, good info but certainly not endorsing anything else on the site - Pico all the way for me.
