How to Enter Shop Info in Pico 7 Auto?

All:

Just downloaded Pico Auto 7 and working great thus far. However, I can't find any menu where I would enter my shop name, address, contact info for printing results? Can anyone guide me where to find that in PA 7?

Thanks in advance

Consulting Tech Assistance Needed in Montreal Canada Area

I am an auto electronics forensic consultant in Silicon Valley. I have a client in Eastern Canada for a legal matter that involves the electronic diagnosis of a number of vehicles. Due to current Coronavirus travel restrictions, it may be difficult or impossible for me to personally travel to Canada...

Re: Will there be a 2000 series scope for Automotive?

Alan:

Understand, but too bad. The price points would certainly expand scope penetration in the automotive service market, and features like the signal generator, mixed-signal capabilities and more would be very interesting and useful to have.

New Feature Idea/Request

Here's a feature I'm looking for. I'm working on building such a tool using a Raspberry Pi, but believe this might be an easy firmware update to a Picoscope, especially for the new 2000 series. In my work, I'd like a CAN bus data RECORDER and PLAYER. I'd like to be able to attach to a CAN bus in a v...

Will there be a 2000 series scope for Automotive?

Just got your release info on the new 2000 series scopes. Will you be releasing an Automotive version of these as well? I hope so!

Re: Software Update Issues 4423

Just a quick post to update. Tried a third time to upgrade to the current version, and the third time was a charm. All seems to be working now on 6.10.16.2. However, I do still have issues with seeing the list of available prior release versions on the Picoauto.com website. This problem exists on my...

Re: Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) Generator

Richard, I purchased the autodiagnosticsandpublishing.com tester and find it quite useful. I am currently working on a project involving throttle body testing and find it quite useful. It appears reasonably well made, although I am planning to eliminate the pigtail cables and install banana sockets ...

Re: 4423 support AWG?

Martyn:

Thanks for the reply, but bummer....that would be a very useful feature for the Automotive Scopes, at least for the work I'm doing. Too bad....but at least I don't have to buy a new scope yet!

Software Update Issues 4423

I recently attempted an update to 6.10.16, but could not get my 4423 to work. I could only see signals if I manually set the range below +/-2V DC, otherwise got a flat line while trying to measure 5V and larger signals? I also ran into a problem trying to locate and download a prior software version...

4423 support AWG?

I suspect the answer is NO, but is it possible for the 4423 to support AWG (arbitrary waveform generator)? If not, how about a "trade-in" offer to upgrade the Picoscope unit to upgrade to a newer/updated unit?
