Re: Searching waveforms

If you have one waveform and want to see where in that waveform the duty cycle is at 20% there are a couple of options. A) Add a maths channel of duty(A) for channel A or say -B if you want duty cycle for the % channel B is low. This adds another trace to the graph showing the changing duty cycle. B...

Re: Can't download or open PS 7 files

The scope does not need to be connected to open files. Please can you let us know which version of PicoScope you are using and also post a link to a couple of the files that will not load. If you select About PicoScope 7 then you should see something like this PicoScope® Automotive - PC Oscilloscope...

Re: Can't download or open PS 7 files

Both PicoScope 6 and PicoScope 7 have had a change in file format this year so its possible you are using a older version to load newer files.

Make sure you are running the latest versions and you should be able to load all PicoScope files.

Re: My PicoScope 6 Automotive recognition issue

To use the 3203D download the non automotive software from https://www.picotech.com/downloads

Alternatively if you plan to use a PicoScope for automotive work and have only just purchased it then I suggest you enquire about returning it and swapping to an automotive PicoScope.

Re: Custom Probe Creation?

Re: What is causing all this noise?

Although the Pico test leads and the PicoScope itself are screened the wires in the wiring loom of the car itself are not screened (to save cost and weight). The wires from the cam & crank sensors probably have other noisy signals running alongside them in the loom (ignition and injectors) causing t...

Have you also lost the automotive drop down menu? If so you may have installed the wrong version - make sure you get the automotive version from https://www.picoauto.com/downloads
