Re: Peugeot 407 crank non start Cam/Fuel Pressure

Hi Chris,1st things 1st, check the voltage at the rail pressure sensor, koeo hould be around .5volt,then unplug sensor to see if the voltage goes up to reference voltage, possibly 5volts. Check the primary supply to the high pressure pump for good flow no aeration,if supply is good,do a cranking test,...

Re: 2013 seat 2.0 CR extended crank from cold.

Good evening, sounds like you have an high pressure leak possibly an a injector leaking back, why dont you carry out a back leakage check, and or koeo crank with the injectors disconnected electrically, and observe rail pressure rise?has this engine got an electrical connector for a pressure regulator?p...

Re: 2013 seat 2.0 CR extended crank from cold.

Hi just check the current drawn by the in tank fuel pump, through the access point under the rear seat,o/s usually,8 to 10 amps, using an amp clamp, watch initial turn on and will probably just show a prime pulse.

Re: Intake vaccum with wps500

Good morning, why dont you put the pressure sensor in the exhaust?that way you can see if you have any exhaust un eveness,or do an in cylinder pressure reading.

Re: Test Plan for Smart Charging System on Ford Fiesta 1.4 (SPJC)

Just a thought......Overheated engine?or did i miss read, what does the temperature sensor show?incorrect temperature tells ecu to charge at a lower voltage level because it thinks the coolant temp is too high? Also check the ignition main relay in the underbonnet fuse box for corrosion on pins causi...

Re: Rav4 fault code 78(8)

Good evening Burt, has the fuel rail got two electrical connectors one at each end of the high pressure rail?what model year is the Rav4? If it has two connectors the one is the fuel rail pressure sensor, the other one the other end is the pressure control solenoid, the rail sensor measures the pressur...

Re: Rav4 fault code 78(8)

Disconnect the injectors electrically, disconnect scv or imv crank over and watch the pressure rise,on graphing meter or scope should rise imediately .5 to 1 second, and go to full pressure=4.0volts or over.

Re: Peugeot 308cc RHF Engine Will not start

Good morning,I would carry out a back leakage test of the injectors,to make sure there is not any excessive leaks, you could disconnect the injectors electrically unplug and the metering valve-imv crank the engine and see how fast the pressure rises in the rail, and if the pressure holds as the pressu...

Re: Peugeot 308cc RHF Engine Will not start

Good morning, why dont you check your pids for fuel pressure, desired v actual?check your rail pressure sensor circuit plausibilty by unplugging sensor, and looking at open circuit code, plausibility voltage for rail sensor .5volt koeo 5v unplugged. The injectors will not fire unless over 220bar in rail...
