Re: An help for study and decode the line CAN bus.

I think that knowing what the ECUs are exchanging is not important, the important thing is that the message is correct and not damaged. In the first post I was referring to that set of bits not recognized by Pico as a message of the CAN protocol and then not decoded, my curiosity was addressed to it...

Re: Volvo V50 2.0D oscillating rpm when driving

hi volrem, sorry if I'm late, I think isn't a problem from automatic transmission, those engines have got a problem with turbo' s VNT. It usually don't work fine and create a against pressure through EGR valve with a pulsed wave. If you want to do a test disconnect EGR valve or plug it and test the ...

Re: What is causing the low frequency vibrations?

The frequency you see is very low 1,4 HZ , it means 1,4 fluctuations at second for me isn' t possibile the cause are tyres o transmission because their frequency is much more high than 1,4 hz.
If the vibration that you feel is 1,4Hz (1,5 at second), i think the problem come from powersteering .

Re: Checking timing on a Peugeot 308 with dual VVT and VANOS

Do not worry friend from the picture that you insert here, it seems that you have failed to mount VANOS, reversing the intake and exhaust. The problem that you have is just a clear symptom
They look the same but they are different you follow the written and former.

Re: Polo 6N 1998 1,4 AKV-Engine Low Compression

My wild stab is a problem with the inlet valve of #2. Cylinder pressure goes way below inlet manifold. No air entering engine. Nothing to compress, so low compression. High cylinder vacuum drawing oil into the cylinder and pumping it out. But Hey! Chuck an engine in. Hi FF for me the problem is on ...

Re: Polo 6N 1998 1,4 AKV-Engine Low Compression

If the test with WPS sensor in the intake manifold has given negative results, the problem of your car is a relief valve damage, from Z2-1 file it is clear that the lack of exhaust bag because the pressure rises quickly, a test, confirming, my idea is a test with 500 WPS in the exhaust pipe.

Re: High ignition current ramp

In those engines there is great difficulty of ignition, the spark serves to generate a lot of energy, because complex fluid dynamics and high pressures in the combustion chamber, also in this engine the sparks are two, the first shorter than the second, all this for avoid misfire and that the spark ...
