Re: Grande Punto 1.3 multijet

Yes problem was solved finally.I solved it by putting resistor in parallel with CKP sensor to clean the CKP signal! Resistor with 2 kOhm worked for me in that case. All RPM range 0-4500 rpm and under every load without dtc's and the engine works fine. You should try with other values if that don't wor...

Re: 2019 Maserati Ghibli, low power under high load, sets P0299-00 and P0301-303.

If the mixture is so much lean that cause cylinder to misfire that should be seen clearly in secondary ignition waveform! Sparkline voltage goes up rapidly! Trick is to look at it at the moments when misfire is present.I used this method many times. If there is no easy access to secondary then prima...

Re: Toyota Previa diesel 2002 lack of power valve timing?

Hy, looks like to me that exhaust is advanced.EVC is to early before TDC thus making "EGR effect".For the intake I'm not sure. In situations like this,in my opinion, best thing to do is to compare measured valve angles with factory data valve angles if you have access to that info. Never mind,I suspe...

EVC is around 30 degrees before TDC !

Hy,
this is how I look on your in-cylinder pressure waveform.

Re: Cranking vs Running compression

For valve timing I rather use cranking compression with blocked throttle to create vacuum in intake. Why?Because with running compression there isn't constant engine cylinder speed because one cylinder is misfiring (the one where is WPS sensor) and that cylinder is slower than others causing that tim...

Re: TPS starting voltage at 2.5V?? Is this right?

Hy Vartman2, TPS sensor are actually two potentiometers and if it has good power supply and ground measured at throttle casing, same TPS signals measured at ECU for four different throttle casings and two ECUs are acting the same then maybe it isn't the cause of the problem. Beside that,TPS signals d...
