Re: Clips

I am very sorry that you have had a poor experience with the small croc clips we supply. The parts we use were selected as the smallest industry standard clip that we could find that meets the insulation requirement for the current safety standards. We do regularly look into possible alternative acc...

Re: Pico storage solutions

I am fairly certain this is the correct tool chest ( we have had it for a couple of years but I don't think it has changed) In order to get the foam trays to fit in the tool chest I had to cut them down a little on both sides so 20 mm sounds about right. If you are looking to cut down a foam tray th...

Re: Can single axis NVH convert to 4 axis NVH

Eric This will work but it would not be quite the same as a 4 axis kit. The difference is that the Interface box for the single output kit (part no TA148) combines the vibrations from all 3 directions into a single output rather than presenting them separately. With the 4 axis kit you get 2 separate...

Re: Maximum pressure WPS600?

With all Pressure equipment you have to be very careful with pressure adaptors to work within the rated range. All our pressure transducers are all individually tested to a pressure above the rated pressure and are designed to be safe for continuous operation at the maximum rated pressure. Typically...

Re: 30Amp amps clamp

Regarding the push button I have to say I really don't know we haven't done enough testing to say with confidence how quickly the cap will discharge and the environmental conditions will have a significant effect (humidity, temp etc.) The pot on the TA234 should be stable but is inherently a little ...

Re: 30 Amp amps clamp

The difference is in how the clamp stores the required offset information. With the "push the button" version an internal cap is charged by the correct amount to correct for the offset. The advantage of this method is that it is both quick and accurate. The problem is the charge on the cap will leak...

Re: Difference current clamp TA234 vs TA189

The main differences between the TA018 and TA234 are the Jaw size and sensitivity to low currents. This gives the TA234 a definite edge, especially at the bottom of its current range. This can be significant when looking at very small currents with the scope bandwidth limit turned on. With these ver...

Re: 30Amp amps clamp

Hi there The other thing to remember is that all current clamps will also suffer from thermal drift, especially if doing long runs overnight where the garage temperature may change by several degrees during the period of the test. Unfortunately there is no easy way to compensate for this in the clam...

Re: Difference current clamp TA234 vs TA189

The main difference between the two clamps is that the TA189 has a "closed loop" control system rather than the more common "open loop" system. This allows the clamp to have a higher bandwidth (over 100 kHz) and makes it less sensitive to noise. It is also less susceptible to thermal drift over time...
