If that is what I think you mean, then surely an engine with one cylinder down completely on compression will raise the cranking speed and lower the current demand, which would also mean that he would have four separate traces to study? I'd of thought it much easier and more accurate to look up on t...

No sorry, you need to have a PicoScope connected to your PC to access the waveform library. The value for money you would receive from owning a PicoScope outweighs the initial investment considerably. Have you got a picoscope, if so use your log in details of the forum and look on the waveform library.

In the top too bar in the centre area there is a buffer looks like [1 of 32] etc. Advance or reverse each screen by depressing the buttons to the right or left as desired.

No Andy definitely not a daft idea. The NVH kit can be used on anything that vibrates or makes a noise/sound, however a good understanding of the subject is necessary to ensure correct diagnosis.

Might of spoken out too soon!

Windows 10 running 8 Meg ram came up with this today;

To close the file I must shut down the pc otherwise I can't close the file.

Steve,

I have the NVH software file at work on my latest industry PC. I can confirm that the software operates OK and does not seem to lock up. New pc's required then.
