Re: Key fob testing

You have to consider the fact that remote is operational but data that is being sent out is incorrect to unlock/lock car. So even if you can measure signal with Pico you cannot verify it's correct.

Pico and keyfob tester would probably give you same results. False positive possibly.

Re: Inverted waveforms with TA204 handheld COP probe?

Change the linear equation under scaling method to use minus in formula. y=-10000 not y=10000 This way you can get inverted waveform. Not sure about this invert function under manual ranges. It doesn't work for me either but to be onest I have never tried that before. Always used minus in formula an...

Re: Inverted waveforms with TA204 handheld COP probe?

Use custom probe instead. Use built in probe, make a copy of that and edit to your ranges and invert if needed.

This way you can use it live. You have to install older Pico version though because latest is faulty and crashes on probe editing.

Because they use phased roll-out. Update via Picoscope will be activated little bit later.

Don't use auto-update. Download new installer from website.

Re: Maths is cool (but I cannot get it to work)

Hi Steve Downloaded edited file and Pico still crashes. I'm on another computer though. BTW 60/48*freq(A)*1.9625*60/1000 and 1.25*freq(A)*0.11775 work fine for me. But when in demo mode and creating math channel 60/48*freq(A)*(3.14 * 0.625)*60/1000 crashes Pico. I can enter thos formula (no red cro...

Re: Using the rotational rulers

pico2.png Crank signal with 60-2 tooth pattern in red. Graphed engined speed from crank sensor signal in black. 360 degrees marked and partitioned evenly by 60 degrees. Each crank tooth is 6 degrees. If engine would run at constant speed all the time then partition rulers should be at the same plac...
