Re: PQ334 vs WPS500

Thanks for the comparison images. This is exactly what I wanted to see. I was hoping that it would perform just as good on pressure pulses.

PQ334 vs WPS500

Hello, is it worth buying the PQ334 pressure transducer as a second tool to my WPS500? Will I get similar captures from both tools, if measuring from the same source? What I want to know is, has anyone compare these two transducers? I like the idea of not having to recharge the battery, but want to ...

Re: USB Power Hub

Well thanks to Autonerdz and Pico I don't have to buy a power hub. The laptop settings for the USB power management had to be adjusted in the Device Manager section.
The current clamps are working now.

USB Power Hub

Hello, is it safe to use a USB power hub with the Off-Highway 4425A-099 Scope Module? I am having problems powering up the current clamps from the usb 3.2 ports on my 2021 HP laptop with Windows11 Home version. The TA388 and the TA473 would work for about 10 seconds before I get an error message and ...

Re: BMW 116i N45B16 Crank Sensor Signal

Thanks. Have to say that I agree with you. The only other thing I found was spark plugs. I replaced them and returned the vehicle. Customer called the next day to say that she sees a definite improvement.
Thanks for the advice and waveforms, it prevented me from going too far down the rabbit hole.

Here are two snap shots of the VANOS at idle. First one taken in 2018 and the second is at present.

Re: BMW 116i N45B16 Crank Sensor Signal

Ok, so this is a normal signal shape at high rpm. The specs on this car says 0-60 in 10.3 sec. I am getting 15.6 secs with RON 95 gasoline. Customer is reporting lack of power. What is the maximum calculated mass air at WOT? At 6000 rpm with WOT I get: 46 km\h in 1st gear; 74 km\h in 2nd gear; 116 ...
