Re: Alfa 159 2.4JTD stall

Hi,

Are you saying it runs with those bits removed but not when you refit them?

If that's the case is the throttle flap working ok?

Re: C3 pluriel 1.4

Hi,

I agree with Rob; either get it on another tool or confirm the results you are reading with your scope.

What are the actual 4 gas results

Re: Mini Crank/cam advice

You should be able to see CAM shaft position change under different engine loads, RPM , and if equipped EGR regulation.

Also Camshaft differences between inlet and exhaust will play part so it depends on the design of sensor pick up I guess to exact relative positions.

Re: Mini Crank/cam advice

Hi,

This is my theory and may or may not be correct.

I guess that was taken at idle, in which case if the vehicle has variable valve timing it would be advantageous to open and thus close the inlet valves later to improve idle.

Re: Polo 1.2 AZQ 2002 Engine management light

Hi,

As Alan has already said you need to check the wiring very carefully.

Seen this many times with this engine code, and yes on some the light stayed out for a while after being re-set by others.

If you do fit another sensor I would only fit Genuine if I were you.

Re: No Kv spike

Hi,

Do you have an issue with the car or was it just the KV spike you were looking for advice on?

Re: Audi A3 2004 2.0l tdi sport

Hi,

A sensor may not be giving the correct output but not log a fault code becuase it is still operating within the defined parmaters that the ECU uses. Looking at live data is important; as relaying on codes does not give the full picture.

Hi,

Is the actuator moving freely? Where did the new turbo come from?
