Re: Waveform overlay

Thank you Roman for your detailed reply. For me each time I'm afforded the opportunity to use Pico, then everyday is a learning curve. Thank you, I would advise to download the posted files and practice on it, especially the Phase rulers which I think you understand wrongly the purpose of it Phase ...

Re: Waveform overlay

Just make short screen video of your problem and post it here.
I am sure the sw is fine, as it works on all our and other colleagues laptops well. (64Win 10 and 11)
Please post the video on how you do the steps of ruler measurement, then you get help or advice.
Regards,
Roman

Re: Waveform overlay

Hi Technician, I think it's very unlikely that the PS7 EA 7.37 behaves wrongly as we are running it on several laptops, each different brand, and we haven't see any problems there. (EA 7.38 is just released) Try to go through this links, there is many more than the rulers, it should help besides ...

Re: Waveform overlay

Hi, I think the best is to update your PS7 first, you may run some very old version. Link is here: https://www.picoauto.com/downloads Regarding posting the file here, I have tested and created file as per your setting, 3 screens in 5s/div of 200kS/s with 3 channels ON and one OFF. The test file has ...

Re: Waveform overlay

Hi, there is few things to see on your screenshot. Firstly, you are using very old sw version, 9+ updates behind, you can click on the red button right top corner and update your sw, the latest version is really good. As you are trying to use edge counter, you either count full screen or between the ...

Re: Waveform overlay

Hi, yes the time cannot be changed but there is a workaround as Ben explained in his demonstration video and that is to create one more scope view, then use zoom to make visual comparison. On your screenshot you did not create second scope view so that's why I think you cannot move forward. It can ...

Re: Waveform overlay

I am not sure if I guess correctly based on the picture. It looks like you are trying to insert reference waveform to your current screen and the reference waveform was recorded with different time/division. Best practice is to record both waveforms with the same setting, especially the time/div ...

Are math channel function dificult?

The Picoscope math channel functions may look complicated especially to new users but with little practice this can be mastered easily. I have 4 examples to share where the math channel function allowed to carry out diagnosis and provided solid evidences supporting the correct repair process. Case ...
