Re: What could be wrong?

What software version and what sample rate?
Start a trace as you are trying to work the scope and try stopping the trace after say 1 minute and then post the .psdata file here.

Re: Pico Diagnostic Battery test

Steve, First of all have a think about what current draw you are expecting and then consider how useful the 200 amp setting would be. Step 2 as always is the old faithful RTFM  post1.PNG The help file states you can use either the 2000 or the 600 amp clamps, this obviously refers to the Pico ...

Re: BNC Extension Cable - Female to Male

Personally I use a TA130  https://www.picoauto.com/products/test-leads/insulated-bnc-to-insulated-bnc-5-m and just stick a gender changer between it and the clamp, cheap as chips on your internet store of choice. eg. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Female-Gender-Changer-Cable-Joiner/dp/B008H...

Re: Time trigger

With the lots of samples and long time base there is no trigger used so the problem is not there. :)

Why do you need a trigger?

Re: Time trigger

Hi Liteace, Personally I am not a great fan of triggers, there are a few occasions when they can be useful, but generally they are more trouble than they are worth. My preferred method is to put the pedal to the metal in the sample rate and set a long time base. Make the capture and then just zoom i...

Re: Greasemonkey from India

Hello Greasemonkey, I know where you are coming from in the hunger for more channels but you need to bear in mind a few points. 1 – The 4824 max input voltage is +/- 50 Volts so you will need to use an attenuator for an injector for instance. The automotive version allows +/- 200 Volts so attenuator...
