Re: toyota scope 4423

The OEM supplied units are locked down to the software that is distributed to the OEM (in this case Toyota) so unless you have access to the Toyota dealership servers the scope is a very ornamental doorstop.
Probably not the answer you wanted to hear ! :(

Measure your injector resistance and explore your bulb rack for the nearest match you have. :D

Re: relative compression help

Paul,

Although the injectors are disconnected the PCM will still be actuating them, so just pick up a signal from number one injector as you would normally do as your sync. You can also substitute a bulb in place of the injector and use your amp clamp as well.

Re: Picoscope 2206B

Are you trying to use the automotive software? If so that is your problem, the 2000 series scopes are T&M scopes and do not work with the automotive software! Also you will not have access to the automotive library. :( You will need to download the test and measurement software

Re: Diagnosising old school ignition coil

Hi Hexi. (Sorry I do not know your name) There are various clues in the coil primary trace in both the turn on and the turn off zones. Coil ringing as the energy dissipates at the end of the duty cycle can also be quite revealing. Coil amperage is also a very good indicator of a failing coil. Always...

How about the Mix Master unit?

    https://www.picoauto.com/products/ignition-accessories/mixmaster-12-channel-automotive-signal-mixer

    2 x 6 or 1 x 12 max cylinder inputs and not terribly expensive :D
