Re: Four wire COP current ramp

I can't think of anything else that would do this apart from a shorting primary? While what you describe can be caused by a shorted primary, it often is not. Many things inside and outside the coil can cause the coil charging current to rise abnormally fast. One of these things can be as simple as ...

Re: Auto Stop If Signal failure

The reason you need two buffers using the method I described is that you need one to waste. If you have settings so that only one buffer is able to be captured, then when the signal fails, the scope will move on to the next capture (buffer) and wait for trigger. Your original capture will be lost an...

Re: Compression test with ATS Transducer ( Is it possible )

We have tested dozens of pressure transducers. if you know the pressure to voltage ratio, you can indeed make a custom probe for any transducer. Here is the thing though... While you will find this works great for measuring static pressures running compression is a different matter. All we tested, a...

Re: Sample Rate Limiting

You will need to sample at 8-10x the baud rate for good CAN reconstruction.

Here is an example of the insane power of the 4425 on CAN:

Re: European Auto Repair Shop - BMW specialized

We also are interested to know how to record a waveform ongoing/continuously instead of filling the screen, going away, then filling the screen again and having to capture it in that exact timeframe? Thank you! I think this will serve the purpose: https://www.autonerdz.com/cgi/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=126...

Re: Attenuator for Picoscope 4425

Nice upgrade. 2 more channels and a lot more horsepower. The 20:1 attenuators will be just fine but you will need two more... It's essential to have one for each channel. The 10:1 attenuators are a better match for the 4425 and also increase the scope input impedance to 8 megohms. BTW... Might want ...

Re: Laptop specs

Our group is composed of power users. While minimal specs can certainly run PicoScope software, when you push the scope performance, it is PC resource intensive and some PCs will fall down. We recommend a minimum of a 2 GHz duo core processor with 4 gigs of RAM and preferably USB 3.0. More RAM is pr...

Re: PicoScope Automotive and PicoScope 2000 Series?

the 3000 series is still used throughout the world and is actually a better scope now due to the improvements made to the software. Hi Ben, New features, yes indeed, but the newer PicoScope builds have dummied down the block mode performance of the 3000 series. Would be nice if that performance cou...

Re: freezing waveform

Yup. 6.13.6.3775 is a broken build. I suggest you update.

Not aware of any such issues with the current build but it does have a bug with the RPM/Frequency measurement box.

Re: forward and reverse image options

I understand friend, but in this function that you mentioned moves the whole screen, in this option I had before it was possible to advance or delay only one signal example if I caught a wave of vacuum I could advance or delay it in relation to another signal as a signal. rotation What you want to ...
