Opel Insignia 2009 A28NET Waveform

Post by melvinlmf »

Hi all,

I have a Opel Insignia MJ 2009 engine code A28NET
Chassisnr: W0LGS87F991023610

We replaced the timing chains but i keep getting a few fault codes.

Misfire cilinder 1,3,5 (bank 2)
Exhaust camschaft sensor P0017.

I want to check the timing with the pico but there are no example wave forms for this engine.
Can anyone help me to post a example waveform from a good engine?

Regards

Melvin

What about measuring timing on bank 1? Would that be that different?
Why were timing chains replaced? Were the faultcodes present before change?
Opel OPC, that is an expensive job I would say.

Its a bit differtent then bank 2. But i will post my measurment when it's done.

We replaced the chains because the cohenrece between cam and crankshaft was wrong.

Its not as expensive as i thought;) but i hope that we don't have to repair it again.

regards melvin

Do a relative compression test with an amps clamp. If timing is off on a V6 you Will see one bank with higher/lower compression compared to the other bank.
