2007 Saturn Sky Cam/Crank relationship

Post by Rob A »

Hello!,
I'm working on a very clean, good running, 2007 Saturn Sky Roadster, 2.0 GDI Turbo Automatic. California LEV2 emissons.

It sets codes P0016 and P0017 codes within seconds of starting the engine, the codes can be cleared successfully, but they reoccur right away.

The timing chain was replaced and the solenoids were replaced.

I suspect the chain is not installed correctly

Before I take things apart to check chain installation, oil pressure and cam position reluctor alignment, I would like to use the pico scope to check the cam to crank correlation.

Does anyone have a known good waveform they could share? I did not find one when I logged onto the waveform library.

Any advice appreciated 8)

Sincerely,

Rob A

it should line up like every other GM. take a shot of it and post it. should be able to tell pretty easy if
its off or not.
