Hysteresis and window pulse width

Post by RYM6746 »

Hi all. I recently was trying to trigger off of a hall effect crank sensor which had the usual missing tooth on the pick up. In the end I did manage it (more luck than judgment) I was wondering if someone could put into layman's terms what the hysteresis and voltage window settings mean in the setup menu. As the trigger wasnt very stable, and I didnt really have a clue what I was doing. Thanks very much for your time and help.

I never noticed the post RYM :( I assume the information is from a Pico online manual, do you know of an updated version?

Here is the PicoScope 6 User Guide

The content is available directly in the software either from Help->User'sGuide , or clicking the Help button in the Advanced Trigger menu
