It's a 3000 series scope
Which 3000 series model do you have?

One of the discontinued automotive scopes, 3223 or 3423, or a different model?

MI007 is our standard entry 60MHz probe that we sell by the bucket load, it is included with many of the lower bandwidth Test and Measurement Scopes

Hello,
The black probe is a ghost...last year I ordered a Pico with MI007 and the received probes was other than in your posted picture(order code is the same).I asked if is some wrong packing(ticket ST00113791),Iain told me "I can confirm that these are the correct probes. The design was changed recently and the website picture has not been updated."
Regards

I have not tested it but I would give it a go and trust it. Pico do have a bad habit of being super honest and not making statements that they cannot guarantee 500% - Not 1,2,3 or 4 Hundred Percent. They don't get that :) :) !!

Just my Experience, and happy to argue it to the n'th degree based on 10 years + experience of the product and evidence based facts.

I could be wrong but stand to be corrected!

It is the software that performs the decoding, not the scope. So provided the scope can capture the signal in enough detail, then yes it does :)

That is why free software updates are such a bonus :) When we added support for FlexRay all existing PicoScope users could just update the software and get the new feature.

The scope that keeps growing
The scope that keeps giving

Hi Martyn,
That's great
Thankyou for info.....

Going back to my original question can I ask you wether you scope with probe on x1 or x 10??
And what would be ideal settings

I use the scope alot but flexray is becoming.more common now on bentley and rolls royce (The cars I work on(

You would need the x1 setting as FlexRay should be between 2V and 3V, so 5V range should be OK.

One issue may be the maximum sampling rate of the 3423 being a bit on the low side for FlexRay.

The best thing to do is scope the signal and take a look.
